Wednesday might be for pigtail braids and pinstripe skirt suits, but Sunday at the Actore Award 2026called for boudoir chic—at least, for Jenna Ortega. The 23-year-old arrived at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, and instantly shut down the red carpet.
Ortega fittingly came dressed as a winner, as she is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work in the Netflix horror series. The actress and her longtime styling Enrique Melendez outdid themselves once again with a shredded, lingerie-inspired slip dress that featured a plunging neckline, plus a thigh-high slit delicately styled with soft-gray stockings and a peep-toe heel.
The look was a true to and embraced the evening’s theme, “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ‘20s and ‘30s.”
The Scream actress kept the party going with her beauty, styling her chestnut-colored locks an Old Hollywood-like side-party with swiftly-tousled bangs that helped elevate the overall looks feminine simplicity. Ortega glammed up with a dark-hued maroon lip that winked at her Wednesday character’s signature morose attire, plus a ’90s-like stringed choker styled with a dangling pearl necklace and an all-black manicure.
Believe it or not, this is only Ortega’s second time attending the ceremony, which was formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. She made her debut in 2023, walking the carpet in a vintage black Atelier Versace gown from its fall 1994 collection.
The gothic dress featured a plunging asymmetrical neckline, strapless design, fitted corset bodice, built-in belt, high-low skirt, and floor-grazing train, all in a shiny textured leather. She added towering open-toe platform heels, a smattering of diamond rings, a matching necklace, and a tennis bracelet. Ortega wore her locks down in loose waves with full fringe and glammed up with bronzy makeup.
Then, Ortega was on double duty, as she was nominated for the same award (which she ultimately lost to Jean Smart for Hacks) and also presented. She took the stage with Aubrey Plaza to deliver a hilarious deadpan speech before announcing the winner for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.
